When we got home from the zoo Emma's cousins came over for her favorite dinner and cupcakes. Really, I don't think her day could have been any better had she planned it herself.
Last Saturday we finally had Emma's big bash with all of the family. Unlike the weather at her first birthday party, it was a gorgeous day out.
She loved the balloons (that are still floating throughout the house).
She got very shy when we sang to her. Good thing her cousin Hunter was there for moral support. I think Emma is so fond of Hunter because he looks like a clone of her daddy- oh and he's very sweet, too.
Emma was showered with gifts. A car, tricycle, clothes, books, gardening tools, Nike tennies, a beautiful toy box hand made by her Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Sarah, and lots lots more.
Emma's best friend Able came, or as Emma says, ah-ble
And Emma was in great spirits despite no nap. It may have been all the Diet Coke from her Grandma Anne.
I guess this means Emma's second birthday celebration has officially come to an end. Thanks to everyone for the gifts, the cards, the calls... Emma says ank ooo.
