June

June is almost over, and my blog skills are seriously lacking. I thought summer would be slow and relaxing, silly me.

Emma is getting closer and closer to being potty trained. She loves to actually go on her potty, she just needs reminders to do so. And sometimes she just isn't in the mood, so we don't push her.

Emma has spent her June playing with sidewalk chalk on a daily basis.. This stuff is a lifesaver, who knew!

And she tends to crash in the cutest of places. It's exhausting being 2!

We have been attending every parade in the area, much to Em's delight. She waves like mad and collects the candy like a seasoned pro.

We went on a weekend getaway to visit the Lauria's in Michigan. Swimming, boat rides, and couch jumping were some of the highlights.

Not to mention baths with Holly. Sorry about Emma taking a poo in the tub Holly, super sorry!

We also got to eat dinner on a riverboat last weekend..

And celebrate Father's Day with the best dad's ever.

(I must note that Hunter was taking pictures with my camera and took this awesome silhouette of Em and Joey. Thanks, Hunter you rock! You need an SLR camera for Christmas!)
Em has also started tumbling and swimming lessons at J&J. It's probably the cutest thing ever - tumbling, that is. Her swimming lessons are awful. Emma clings to me, screams that she wants out, and cries when the teacher tries to take her around the pool. I am seriously paying for taking her out of lessons for a year. Emma really does love the water, but prefers the security of her little kiddie pool over them deep suckers - can't blamb the girl.
